In Logical Thinker of AchieversMATH, students will develop mathematical intelligence to reason and think logically as they learn to:
- Gaining proficiency in addition and subtraction using mental arithmetic skills.
- Mastering computation skills of addition and subtraction using paper-and-pencil and mental arithmetic skills.
- Mastering computation skills of multiplication and division based on multiplication table, mental addition, mental subtraction and calculations skills.
- Use mental arithmetic skills to solve problems of fractions, decimals, percentage and equations.
- Understanding number order and the connection between number and quantity.
- Understanding the place values and rounding of numbers.
- Learning the concept of making numbers (number bonds).
- Learning the fundamental concept and connection of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Learning the fundamental concept of order of operations.
- Learning the fundamental concept of fractions, decimals and percentage.
- Learning the conversion of length, weight and volume.
- Learning the relationship and conversion of time.
- Learning the fundamental concept of ratio, equations, equivalent ratio and proportional distribution.

In Critical Thinker of AchieversMATH, students develop capability in critical thinking as they learn to:
- Investigate the patterns in numbers, shapes and expressions to make mathematical discoveries.
- Use visualisation, spatial reasoning and geometric modelling to solve problems.
- Develop an understanding on measurable attributes of objects and the units, systems and processes of measurement.
- Select and use various types of reasoning and methods of proof as fundamental aspects of mathematics.
- Develop new mathematical knowledge through problem solving using appropriate strategies.
Students will learn to investigate the patterns in numbers, shapes and expressions to make mathematical discoveries.

Creative Thinker
In Creative Thinker of AchieversMATH, the lessons will integrate activities that require students to think broadly and deeply by applying a sequence of thinking skills such as algebra, geometry, measurement, reasoning and problem solving. The aim is to develop an increasingly sophisticated understanding and employ the knowledge in creating new ideas in specific contexts, seeing existing situations in a new way, identifying alternative explanations, and seeing or making new links that generate a positive outcome.
